The Federal Republic of Germany is ordering up to 60 InoTec SCAMAX® 611 document scanners from German manufacturer DATAWIN for its ministries, offices and authorities.
In order to further advance the digitization of its authorities and offices, the District of Börde is professionalizing its mailroom and central scanning office: with two InoTec SCAMAX® document scanners – and with resounding success.
The objective of the cooperation is a premium solution for the digitization of archives and cultural
assets. In future, overhead scanners and swipe scanners from both companies can be combined
to form hybrid scanning systems.
More sorting trays, more sorting criteria: The new InoTec SCAMAX® SORTER enables the scanning and sorting of documents into up to five sorting trays: in just one pass; at full scanning speed; directly at the desk.
The InoTec SCAMAX® 3×1 has received the “TR-RESISCAN ready” certification. This has been confirmed by the certification body of the VOI – Verband Organisations- und Informationssysteme. All models in the SCAMAX® family are therefore proven to be suitable for scanning processes in accordance with the technical guideline TR-03138 ” Ersetzendes Scannen (RESISCAN)” of the German Federal Office for Information Security.
The SCAMAX® 631 has achieved an outstanding result in the Buyers Lab Test conducted by independent analysis and market information provider Keypoint Intelligence. The scanner was awarded the highest possible rating of “excellent” in eight out of nine evaluation categories. In an additional endurance and reliability test, the scanner digitized 272,900 documents in one go without a single stop.
In a 360° solution for capturing and processing delivery bills in the factory of a large German car manufacturer, the multifunctional devices used for scanning fail due to the condition and nature of the documents – and due to overlooked staples.
